BLKMKT creators post videos and photos of minority-owned businesses, products and events in their city. Posts show in the app's Feed tab. Creator Rewards is invite-only: we invite creators whose videos do well. Once 5 of your videos pass 10,000 qualified views, each of those videos earns $0.50 per 1,000 views, paid monthly.

Creator Rewards is invite-only: we invite creators whose videos do well. Once you're in and 5 of your videos have passed 10,000 qualified views (signed-in viewers who watch at least 5 seconds), every video past that bar earns $0.50 per 1,000 qualified views each month. Total creator payouts are capped at $1,000 a month; if a month goes over, everyone is scaled down by the same share.
You choose what to make and how it looks. Every post features a business, product or event, and new creators' posts get a quick review before they go live.
Your posts show in the app's Feed for your city.
Turn on collaboration requests and businesses can contact you from your public creator page.
You own what you post and can cross-post it anywhere. BLKMKT gets a license to show it in the app (Terms, section 7).
Who we're looking for
Followers help, but they're not the bar. We look at your recent work and how well you know your city's minority-owned businesses. Posts in the app are videos and photos, so photographers and short-video makers both fit.
- A clear focus (food, beauty, music, etc.); generalists are fine, but a lane helps
- 5+ posts of recent work we can review (Instagram, TikTok, or portfolio)
- A city you actually live in or cover regularly
- Comfort working with small business owners in person
- Time to post a strong piece about every two weeks
